Vogtle Court Hearing

WHAT: On Friday, April 16, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Wendy Shoob will hold a hearing on the lawsuit filed by Southern Alliance for Clean Energy last year against Georgia Power, Governor Perdue and the Georgia Public Service Commission that could prevent Georgia Power ratepayers from having to prepay for building the two proposed Plant Vogtle nuclear reactors.
HOW: Show your support for SACE and concern over this prepayment scheme by attending the court hearing. There is no opportunity for public comment; this will be a courtroom setting so please plan accordingly. This could be a brief procedural hearing or a longer, extended oral argument.
