Expensive, risky and water-intensive new nuclear reactors are not the answer to Florida’s energy needs. As illustrated by the BP oil disaster in the Gulf, we cannot trust the industry or the regulators to protect our health and environment. In the face of climate change, we need real solutions now. Clean, safe, and renewable energy along with energy efficiency and conservation will not endanger our health, our environment, or our future.
