The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering listing coal ash, the toxic byproduct of coal burning, as a hazardous waste or as household garbage. In order to give all interested citizens a chance to voice their opinions, EPA is holding a public hearing in Knoxville, TN. This hearing is a great opportunity to tell EPA that coal ash is dangerous, under regulated, and should be treated as a hazardous waste.
