Join the Southeast Coastal Climate Network

seccnlogo.jpgWith thousands of miles of coastline at risk to the impacts of a changing climate, it is more important than ever to educate elected officials and fellow citizens about what is at stake and how we can prevent worst-case scenarios from becoming reality.

The Southeast Coastal Climate Network (SECCN) is a coalition of citizens and more than 55 organizations from Maryland to Louisiana calling upon regional leaders to take immediate action to reduce climate pollution while advocating for meaningful solutions to the most urgent matter of our lifetime. SECCN is dedicated to fostering regional leadership in mitigating and adapting to the challenges of global warming and is open to all citizens and organizations wanting to ensure the protection of our treasured coastal places. The network promotes protection of the Southeast’s uniquely vulnerable coastal resources by increasing local, state, and national awareness of the threats and opportunities posed by climate change.

Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) is the host organization for SECCN and is instrumental in sharing pertinent information and action opportunities to all Network members. SACE maintains an email update list to highlight relevant action opportunities, news, upcoming events and webinar opportunities.
