Hands Across The Sand

parts/content-body.any.php

On August 4, people all over the world will join hands at their local beach, river, lake, or other treasured place to say “no” to offshore drilling and risky fossil fuels and say “yes” to clean energy.

The idea is simple: 1) find your closest gathering or organize one for yourself; 2) go to the specified location on August 4 at 11:00 a.m.; 3) at 12:00 p.m., join hands with other participants to form a line in the sand against offshore drilling and fossil fuels; 4) enjoy your treasured place! More information on SACE’s Take Action Page or at HandsAcrossTheSand.com.

If you’re in the Charleston area, consider attending the gathering at Folly Beach. For specific information about the event at this location, click here.
