Nuclear Waste Confidence Scoping Comments Pt 1

In late 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions "Waste Confidence Rule," which allowed them to grant licenses with the "confidence" that long term storage for spent nuclear fuel would be secured, was overturned. The Commission now has two years to develop an actual rule before granting any new licenses or relicensing any old reactors. These comments were drafted and signed onto by over 20 environmental organizations across the country.Pt1NuclearWasteConfidenceScopingCommentsreEIS2013.pdf
