Social & Environmental Justice, Health Symposium


The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy, The Atlanta Black Nurses Association and The West Atlanta Watershed Alliance invite you to join us at our inaugural Social Justice, Environmental Justice and the Impact on Minority Health Symposium. We hope you will take this opportunity to join us and learn how social justice, public health, environmental justice and energy equity intersect and the impact it has on low income and communities of color. No registration cost.

This event, in partnership with the Community Engagement/Outreach Core, Center of Excellence for Health Disparities Research, Georgia State University, will be held, February 1st from 8:45am-1:00pm at the Georgia State University’s Institute of Public Health, 25 Park Place Atlanta, GA 30302 (located in the Suntrust Bank Building).

Registration and coffee service begins at 8:00am, followed by opening remarks at 8:45am.

Parking is available in the 33 Hurt Plaze parking garage for a rate of $10 parking, near Suntrust. If using MARTA, use the 5 points station. Register is now open until January 31st:
