Appalachian Electric Coop Annual Meeting
An electric cooperative is organized, owned and controlled by the members it serves.
If you’re a member of the Appalachian Electric Cooperative, you can have a say in how YOUR cooperative is run.
Every year, Appalachian Electric Cooperative holds an annual meeting on the first Saturday of October. Members of the coop come to this meeting to hear reports on business, elect directors for the board and to address other business that may come before the meeting. Every member has a vote in the operation of the cooperative. This is your chance to make a difference in how your electricity provider serves you.
This year, Appalachian Electric Cooperative will be holding its annual meeting on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City, TN. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., the business meeting starts at 10:00 a.m.
If you attend, you’ll get a $15 credit on your electric bill! And BBQ!
We encourage you to show up for the meeting and to let your fellow AEC members, AEC management and the AEC board of directors know how you feel about clean, modern and healthy energy sources. Tell them you support solar, wind and energy efficiency
