Roanoke River Basin town hall meeting

DanRiverAshHandThe Dan River spill continues to impact the people who live and recreate in the Roanoke River Basin. Over 140,000 tons of toxic coal ash and wastewater threatens water quality, and public health. Local economies are suffering with tourists avoiding the now-tainted river. Join the Roanoke River Basin Association, coal ash experts and concerned citizens at a town hall meeting to learn more about these impacts, what’s being done to demand clean up of the river and how you can get involved.
