High Risk Energy Coordinator
Adam serves as Southern Alliance for Clean Energy’s High Risk Energy Program Coordinator, based out of the Asheville, NC office, working with regional stakeholders and allied organizations on coal ash strategies to protect Southeast communities and hold utilities accountable for their pollution. Adam maintains the Southeast Coal Ash website as well as SACE’s web presence for coal and coal ash issues and furthers coal ash data and policy research and analysis. Adam joined SACE in January 2015.
Previously, Adam served as a researcher and campaigner with Corporate Accountability International and an organizer with Green Corps. He also assisted the development and promotion of Appalachian and the Community Together’s community-based research program at Appalachian State University. Adam has a Bachelor of Arts in both Anthropology and Philosophy and Religion from Appalachian State University as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University.
