SACE | Southern Alliance for Clean Energy
10th Annual Southeast Diesel Partner’s Meeting
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and partners, including SACE, in eight southern states in agriculture, construction, transportation, shipping, energy and the environment will come together at the Double Tree Atlanta-Buckhead Hotel to hold the 10th Annual Partners Meeting of the Southeast Diesel Collaborative (SEDC). This year’s theme “Diesel Revolution: Creating sustainable neighborhoods one engine at a time” will focus on expanding the SEDC’s efforts to reduce diesel emissions in communities.
This year’s meeting will also include a SmartWay Workshop. The SmartWay program is a public-private initiative between EPA, large and small trucking companies, rail carriers, logistics companies, commercial manufacturers, retailers, and other federal and state agencies to improve fuel efficiency and the environmental performance (reduction of both greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution) of the goods movement supply chains. Please join the meeting from 1- 4:30 pm on August 17, 2015 to learn about the financial and environmental benefits of this program.
