Energy Efficiency Policy Manager
Jen joined the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy in August 2015 as the Energy Efficiency Policy Manager for North Carolina. In this role, she is a liaison with advocacy organizations, utility regulators, electric utilities and other key energy efficiency stakeholders, focused on providing outreach and technical assistance on issues of importance to SACE and the North Carolina energy community. Jen previously worked at the Environmental Finance Center at UNC-Chapel Hill where she managed many diverse energy finance projects including carbon offset strategies for Duke University, electricity usage and expenditure analyses for North Carolina municipal utilities and energy efficiency financing initiatives for universities, non-profits and other public organizations.
Jen has over 13 years of consumer and small business banking experience and holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University, an MBA from the University of Michigan and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California in San Diego.
