Fukushima at 5: Nuclear Threats Far & Near
SACE allies, including Nuclear Watch South, will host a free educational program in Athens, Georgia, in observance of the 5th anniversary of the ongoing radiological disaster in Fukushima to remember the thousands of Japanese people who perished in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

The free program will include a screening of Fairewinds Energy Education’s latest video report, “FUKUSHIMA@5” with nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen. Local activists will be on hand to lead discussion about Fukushima and nuclear threats closer to home.
