ev_billsDeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson and Just Energy Circle (JEC) host the DeKalb County Energy Equity Forum and Job Fair, the latest in a series of JEC Energy Equity Forums being held throughout the five-county metropolitan Atlanta region. The community is invited to come out and learn about:

  • How to lower your energy bills.

  • Good paying jobs in the energy sector and how to get them.

  • Programs that will save consumers money on their energy bills.

  • How your bill is priced, and why?

There will be a Resource Area with representatives providing information about energy sector careers, jobs, and job training opportunities in the Atlanta region and Georgia

This series of community talks seek to engage stakeholders on the subject of energy equity and why it matters to individuals and communities, particularly the underserved and underrepresented. Energy equity is the fair distribution of the benefits and burdens from energy production and consumption.
