SACE | Southern Alliance for Clean Energy
Coal Ash Stories Film Tour in Tennessee!
Imagine being afraid to drink your water, take a bath, fish, or farm. Toxic coal ash stored across Tennessee poses exactly these risks. Communities are successfully pushing for clean-up in other southeastern states and we’re hitting the road to help with efforts in the Volunteer State.
SACE has partnered with SOCM, the Sierra Club Chickasaw Group, the Sierra Club Upper Cumberland Committee, and Working Films to bring Coal Ash Stories to Tennessee. You’re invited to these events listed below, which feature four short films focused on coal ash, public health concerns, related policy, and ways that communities are responding. Come learn about the issues, talk with your neighbors, and find out how you can help protect your community.
