CONFERENCE: Power to the People: Fueling the Revolution for Energy Justice

The conference will look at the health, economic and housing impacts of energy costs, particularly on low-income residents and the need to move toward affordable and just energy solutions in the Memphis region.

Event sponsors include: Memphis Branch-National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Please join us, as we collectively inform, educate, energize and strategize around greater energy equity. We will be joined by national and local leaders focused on clean energy, solar initiatives, weatherization, community engagement, green and healthy communities, energy efficiency, environmental justice, and coalition building.

We’ll also highlight the newly launched campaigns in the region such as Just Energy Memphis, Memphis Has the Power, Tennesseans for Solar Choice and CivicTN campaigns.
