A: Your gifts will support our organization as we work to meet our mission through the valuable programs we have implemented.
The commitment and generosity of our valued supporters provide us with resources to do everything from conducting a study that measures the harmful effects of diesel school bus emissions on children to influencing creation of the Southeast's first utility owned green power program, Green Power Switch® to making sure that we can provide health insurance for our full-time staff that have worked to build our long list of accomplishments.
Q: How do I deduct my charitable contribution?
A: To deduct a charitable contribution, you must file Form 1040 and itemize deductions on Schedule A. The amount of your deduction may be limited if certain rules and limits explained in IRS publication 526, "Charitable Contributions" apply to you. To view/download this publication, click here.
Q: My business or company has an employee-giving program (or would like to have one). How can we give to SACE through this program?
A: SACE participates in work-place giving campaigns operated by Earth Shares Georgia and Community Shares of Tennessee.
If your company runs one of these work-place giving campaigns, you can suppport SACE simply by designating SACE as one of your chosen charities. SACE is working to join work-place giving campaigns operated in North Carolina and Florida.
If your work place does not offer a work place giving program, please email Rachel Grillo, RGrillo@cleanenergy.org or call her at 828.254.6776 to talk about opening your work place to a campaign that includes SACE.
