Ways to Give

Southern Alliance for Clean Energy welcomes different types of donations that make sense for you. Take a look through the options below, and please contact us if you another way to support clean energy.

Estate Planning

Support a clean energy future by including the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy in your estate plans. Talk with your financial advisor, attorney or accountant to consider the best option for you.

Honorariums

Pay tribute to or memorialize someone special who shares our vision of creating a clean energy future.

When you make a gift in another person’s honor or memory, the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy will send a formal, personalized card notifying the honoree or, if a memoriam, the person you designate.

Giving Stock and other Annuities

By giving securities, donors can benefit from tax savings that may allow them to give more at no greater cost. Talk with your financial advisor, attorney or accountant to learn if this is a good choice for you. Please notify us of your intention to make a stock gift.

For more information, or for detailed instructions on making a stock gift, please e-mail Rachel Grillo, Senior Director of Development & Operations at rgrillo at cleanenergy dot org or call 828-254-6776.

Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is an easy way to spread the word about the urgent need for climate action and clean energy reform. Whether you work for a large corporation or a small office, donating through your place of employment gives your co-workers and employers a chance to learn about this very pressing issue.

The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy is involved in workplace giving campaigns throughout the Southeast. Please click the links below to learn more and see if your workplace is already connected with a workplace giving campaign.

If your workplace is not yet involved, we are happy to work with you to start a campaign at your company. For more information, e-mail Kyle James, Development & Outreach Manager, at kyle at cleanenergy dot org or call 828-254-6776.
