Electric vehicle advocates here in North Carolina hope to present this license plate design to the NC Department of Motor Vehicles and the NC General Assembly next month for approval. But in order for the design to even be considered, at least 500 paid-in-advance applications must be received by February 8, 2020. An application starts as low as $10 (more if you want to customize your plate) and all funds will be refunded if the plate isn’t approved, so there’s no risk in applying.

Note: these plates are definitely not just for electric vehicles! If we can get this design approved, they will help increase awareness of and support for electric vehicles no matter which vehicle they are on.

You can learn more about the proposed license plate and complete your application here.

Help us DRIVE electric vehicle adoption in North Carolina by applying for this plate, today! Please help us spread the word on Twitter or Facebook today.
