Hundreds to Attend Rally for Wind Energy Jobs

Southern Alliance for Clean Energy and the Georgia Sierra Club will host the “Wind Works: For Jobs, for Georgians” Rally at the Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion on Friday, August 31, 2012, from 6-9pm. A coalition of concerned residents, elected officials, and wind energy manufacturers are expected to participate in the rally. The rally will promote Georgia’s significant offshore wind energy potential and the growing wind component manufacturing base throughout the state.

Attendance is free and open to the public.
