This webinar marks the 6th webinar in SACE and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability’s Climate Adaptation Webinar Series. This webinar focused on planning for climate change and the tools available through ICLEI’s CRC Program. Specifically the program offers a tool to help communities through the process of assessing vulnerabilities, setting goals for resilience, and developing adaptation strategies that integrate with existing hazard and comprehensive planning efforts. The program also provides a variety of free resources, including case studies on local government adaptation efforts; fact sheets on financing adaptation, the mitigation-adaptation connection, coastal adaptation strategies and links to key guidebooks on adaptation.
