Old energy past and clean energy future in Denmark
On a tour of the Middlegruden Offshore Wind Farm in Copenhagen, Denmark,SACE executive director, Stephen Smith, points out the juxtaposition ofthe dirty energy past that Denmark is fast leaving behind in favor of the clean energy future of wind power. Denmark’s DONG Energy has a goalof moving from 85% fossil fuel and 15% renewable to 15% fossil fuel and85% renewable by 2025.
