The applicant must demonstrate solid skills in most of the following areas: writing, public speaking, analytic and computer applications. Experience with state agencies, decision-makers, media, or non-profit advocacy strongly preferred.
We are often flexible as to job location, typically expecting staff to be based in our key Southeast states: Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida. SACE has offices in Knoxville, Tennessee; Asheville, North Carolina; and Atlanta, Georgia. Salary offer will be commensurate with nonprofit compensation in the Southeast and include a full benefits package including 401k matching, paid vacation, and paid sick leave. Additionally, SACE will provide support for training to deepen skillset when appropriate. It is possible that we may fill a new position without advertising it should the right applicant indicate interest.
